VOLUNTEERS
We believe that God called a people to plant Crossroads Church, not just a handful of individuals. We are abundantly grateful to our volunteers for helping us walk out our mission to this community!
Serving Opportunities
Family Ministries
Our hope is to raise up a new generation equipped and called to serve Jesus wherever they may go. We also hope to create people of “Refuge” who will be a light for Christ through their love towards others and their heart to serve Him.
Crossroads Birth through Elementary: Sunday mornings during both services. For more information, connect with our College & Family Ministries Pastor, Jeff Virgin.
Crossroads Students (6th-12th): Sunday mornings after worship both services, in Room 4, as well as Tuesday evenings, from 6:30-8:30pm. For more information, connect with our College & Family Ministries Pastor, Jeff Virgin.
Worship
Worship is contemporary with the appreciation and occasional inclusion of hymns and familiar choruses.
We also encourage people to express themselves in worship through whatever means draws their attention and focus to the Father.
We have a wonderful group of people, led by our Pastor of Worship & Creative Arts, Alex McCrary, who faithfully lead our church body.
If interested in getting involved (either vocally or instrumentally), connect with Alex.
Hospitality & Connections
We have a wonderful team of folks who help ensure people are made to feel welcome on Sunday mornings. This team is composed of greeters, worship center hosts, mug washers, and floaters. There are more “upfront” roles and more “behind the scenes” roles. Connect with Pastor Beth for more information.
Tech Team
Our tech team is a vital component of the Sunday morning experience. Providing sound, lighting elements, and lyrics, this team is dedicated to offering ways for people to experience worship without distraction and in the best possible contexts. If interested in getting involved, connect with Pastor Alex.
Photography
The photography ministry emerged after seeing a passion for the arts particularly expressed and valued in this community. The vision is to provide opportunities for the story of the Gospel to come alive through empowering people to become active participants in the “telling” through their own unique gifts and talents. If interested, connect with our Worship & Creative Arts Director, Alex McCrary.
Intergenerational Sundays
Every last Sunday of the month, we provide opportunities for the entire church to participate together in caring for others in the community through things like clothing drives, school supply drives, etc.
