Stay updated with news, prayer requests, and stories of celebration, as we look towards what comes next for us as a church!
OUR HISTORY
On Pentecost Sunday, May 31st, 2020, Crossroads Community Church in Nampa, Idaho, birthed a sister church—Crossroads Church—in Caldwell. Renting an old Eagle’s Lodge while their building was being renovated, Crossroads Church was “finding its feet” as a new body of believers right during the height of the Covid pandemic. The early days were filled with people bringing their own chairs to church as services were held in a room smelling of old cigar smoke and highlighting an old-school tiki bar in its corner.
On Christmas Eve, 2020, Crossroads Church took occupancy of its renovated space on 6th and Main Street in downtown Caldwell. The church has remained in that space for the full five years of its lease, and now stands on the brink of its next move. By June 1st, 2025, Crossroads Church will need to meet in a new location.
We are in the process of exploring where the Lord might be moving us, and we are looking forward in joyful anticipation to the next chapter in the story!
LATEST NEWS
As of June 1st, we will be meeting temporarily at Caldwell Free Methodist Church for a combined 9am service. This is exciting because it means that for a season we can be blessed by another church…they have graciously bumped back their own service time to accommodate for us to have a Sunday morning meeting space. We will be able to save for our own downpayment, and hopefully allocate more towards some areas of ministry that have taken a big hit financially in the last season. We will also have an opportunity to bless and come alongside their church body in a number of ways.
We believe this is going to strengthen both churches for God’s glory in this season. As we meet there temporarily, we will continue to pursue the place we believe the Lord may be giving us permanently.

Prayer Requests
- Pray for wisdom for our boards and staff as we make decisions moving forward.
- Pray for the Lord’s provision financially, as moving is not cheap!
- Pray for the people who will be impacted by our ministry in a new location.
- Pray the Lord will provide a new location. 🙂
Stories of Celebration
During our nights of prayer and worship, we had 26 different people share words of encouragement from the Lord! Things like:
“Our future is secure. Trust Him. Continue to pray and trust. He is equipping us and building up an army, and we are going to spread His love and bring others to Him in a new location, as well as maintain relationships with those we have blessed in our season in the current building/location.”
So cool!
